Uses
In the steelmaking industry, block calcium oxide, as an important slag-making material, can quickly react chemically with impurities such as sulfur and phosphorus in molten iron to form slag and separate it, effectively improving the purity and quality of steel and optimizing steel performance;
In calcium carbide production, block calcium oxide and coke react at high temperature to form calcium carbide, which is an indispensable raw material for calcium carbide production and provides basic support for the chemical industry chain;
In addition, in the manufacturing process of refractory materials, block calcium oxide can enhance the high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance of refractory materials and increase the service life of products.
In terms of soil treatment, block calcium oxide slowly releases alkaline substances, gradually adjusts the pH value of acidic soil, improves soil aggregate structure, enhances soil water and fertilizer retention capacity, and creates a good environment for the growth of crop root systems; in aquaculture ponds, the addition of block calcium oxide can increase the calcium content in the water body, promote the growth of aquatic crustaceans, and at the same time adjust the pH of water quality, inhibit the reproduction of harmful microorganisms, and maintain the ecological balance of water bodies.
In waste incineration, block calcium oxide can effectively absorb acidic gases (such as hydrogen chloride, sulfur dioxide, etc.) generated during the incineration process, reduce pollutant emissions, and reduce pollution to the atmospheric environment;
In the industrial wastewater treatment process, block calcium oxide can be used as a precipitant, combining with heavy metal ions in the wastewater to form precipitates, which is convenient for subsequent separation and treatment, and achieves industrial wastewater purification and standard discharge.
